Making art come alive in the classroom

When we work with children and teachers through the different arts, the responses are universal. I don't want to sound too pedantic but educators may recognize these as "higher order responses" I have had great opportunities to use Art in Education techniques and work with children and teachers in different parts of India and from diverse backgrounds. Expression, though the arts- visual and tactile, and through drama, or with puppets or in dance- all evoke higher order responses in the most spontaneous ways. The Art in Education practitioner is not a teacher, but a facilitator. My work has been a journey of explorations into learning responses of children and teachers.

A Dedication

I dedicate this site to schools, teachers and children of Bangalore, Calcutta, Pune, and in many rural parts of Karnataka and India where I have shared sheer joy with others through my work.
